We have been watching you guys for a while now, all the recommendations have made our Oahu trip so much fun! My wife and I were watching this video, and the huli huli chicken made us so hungry. We paused the video and drove to our local L&L in Lakewood, Washington, and got some of their BBQ chicken. Mmmahalo!😊

Amanda, we really love watching you and Felix. We are heading to O'ahu in September for another vacation. (We've been blessed to be able to stay at the Hale Koa Hotel more than 30 times, because my husband served 26 years in the Air Force....ten of those 26 years were spent at Hickam AFB). I'm making a "must eat" list of places that we want to try after having watched so many of your videos. I hope I don't offend you by correcting your pronunciation .... of dulce de leche. It's dool.. say ... de leche. Not dool chay, as you pronounced. Sorry.... I'm just being picky.

Love your vids. Ya all are helping me prep for a huge trip to Oahu later this year. I fell in love with garlic chicken on a visit to Bend Oregon’s Noi Thai. I was so excited to see that there is a real Noi Thai right by the Royal Hawaiian If you have not yet eaten there I strongly recommend their Crispy Garlic Chicken with Coconut rice, add their Pork appetizer for one of the best meals you will ever have!!!!

Dulce pan is pronounced “dull say” not dolce like the designer brand just a tip 😅

That area in Aiea has so many good spots. Queen St. Cafe, Sushi Spot, BB.Q, Aiea Bowl, Hughley's, El Mariachi II, M&M, Aiea Manapua, Tea Cafe, and all of the Vietnamese restaurants.

Aloha, Amanda & Felix...Welcome back! Thank you for all those Instagram posting & updates on London & Scotland. Awesome! Where else can you get bangers and mash like that! I hope Amandas wishes all came true....Yaaaaay! I have not been to this night market in Kakaako yet, but it is on my list. The food and desserts you ate looked so amazing. I have taken notice that items are increasingly costly from the vendors at all of the markets around town. But I guess for some of the specials and uniqueness, it may be worth the price because you could not get this anywhere else. Local mom and pop eateries have some of the best tasting foods. I am glad that they are out there. As always, have an awesome day...

If you like Matcha Soft Serve, try the near end of the street shop name Sawawa i think. And they got nice warabi mochi too.

Sadly while I've been to all of them I didn't find anything worthwhile enough for me to go back with the exception of Palace Saimin but even that has been given up for Tanaka as it's the best saimin I've had in all of Hawaii by a good amount. But it's fun to watch you guys going around and giving them a try. I hope other locals give them a chance.

My Foodie Ohana! I love me a night market and food trucks or pop ups. Everything looked really good, but I have to give a special shout out to that Ube Horchata. Horchata is a staple here in Tucson, AZ, but adding Ube has to be a “game changer”. I fell in love with Ube when we went to Hawai‘I, so I can just imagine the taste. Love you guys and am thankful for another fun episode. 🤙🏽❤️🌴

I wish I knew about this one while we visited. Definitely going to have to stop at some when we visit again next year.

It's crazy to think that Night Markets are more expensive than a stand-alone restaurant! It's the same on the mainland. I just took my kids to the Richmond night market in Canada and the food price's are crazy! Really not worth going anymore 😕

Hey guys we were there the night you filmed this episode. I was the guy waiving in the background when you were filming. We tried several places you recommended including the Loco Moco from Liliha, Kababa Mama, and island vintage shave ice to name a few. Mahalo for the recommendations for us Texans.

Never had Aja or Fort Street but I strangely dislike Sugoi the most out of the remainder. It's sauce is just way too sweet for me, maybe I had it on a bad day or something as I've only had it once and didn't even finish it I disliked it so much. In fact hearing the description you guys give makes me think they mixed my order up and gave me Korean flavor as I also don't remember it having a strong garlic profile. I guess I gotta go give it another try. For me the best garlic chicken place I have tried though is new to Oahu out in Kapolei. Broke Da Mouth Grindz. It doesn't fit your selection but their Furikake Garlic Chicken is so good BUT you gotta try it with their chili pepper water...it's what takes it over the top. Huge portion as well and I split the plate with the GF whenever we go.

Rainbows....I don't get what people love about that place. It's like L and L except there's no parking. I've given it multiple tries to only be disappointed each time. Also- rice is so import. It's amazing how many local shops screw it up and have rice that is either too mushy like paste or too dry. Generally my favorite loco moco is Liliha but the last time I ordered their rice was WAY mushy like paste. It was so bad that if I had eaten it there vs takeout I would have requested it be remade and I've only ever returned an ordered dish when there was a mistake in what I ordered before...never because I wasn't satisfied with how it was done. I have never tried Hamada though and it looks awesome. Gotta go give it a try.

Since I've been to all these places for me: Flavor- Island Vintage, Texture: Island Vintage, Value- If I'm getting shave ice value doesn't register since I'm diabetic and if I'm gonna have a cheat dessert I want it to be worth the carbs I'm consuming vs the dollars I'm spending.

I was working at Eat the Street at Kakaako this past Saturday night and it was my first time attending it!

Only thing is the Caesar dressing wasn’t made properly. He needed to whisk the oil in slowly to make an emulsion. That was oil and egg stored together:(
